Doug has been at EVERY Mayberry Days event since it began and this year will be the 20th Annual Mayberry Days.  In recent years his brother, Rodney, has been joining him for two shows at Mayberry Days. I'll be talking a little bit about Mayberry Days after the interview.  Hopefully I can help all you fans better understand why fans of The Andy Griffith Show travel each year to Andy Griffith's home town of Mt. Airy, NC to celebrate the fun and laughs of Mayberry Days. Ever year there are different events, jokes, skits, and new folk in town so Mayberry Days is always different but with spirit of Mayberry spread throughout.
